The Art of the “Thank You”

I’m a big believer in the “Thank You.” If someone does a good job or goes the extra mile, it’s important in both your professional and personal life to say thank you. While most professionals consider this as common sense, surprisingly few do it well or at all. This simple idea can help bring anyone success in the workplace or the interview process. In fact, we’ve included an article in our Ask the Experts section below, entitled The Art of the Follow-up, about just how important it is to send a thank you note after an interview, and the right way to send it. I hope you’ll find it informative!

On that note, I’d like to thank all of you who sent us such wonderful feedback on our first edition of The Acclivity Health Report. Your response was overwhelming and much appreciated! We will continue to strive to bring you the latest and most relevant healthcare headlines and employment tips and information.

A special thank you to Sue Novelli, who was the June winner of our iPod shuffle for her suggestions to help us bring you an even better newsletter. We hope you’ll follow Sue’s lead with your own helpful tips! Just click on the box with the iPod and send us your thoughts. We look forward to hearing from you!

Thanks again!
